Dolphin Terrace believes that Robotics is important for elementary students because it introduces them to problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork in a fun, hands-on way. It helps build foundational skills in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), fostering creativity and curiosity. By working with robots, Dolphin Terrace students learn to break down complex tasks, experiment with solutions, and persevere through challenges. Robotics also develops digital literacy and prepares students for future careers in an increasingly technology-driven world, giving them the confidence to explore innovation at an early age.
