Dolphin Terrace Elementary proudly celebrates April as the Month of the Military Child đź’ś

This special recognition is important in our elementary school because it shines a light on the unique experiences of our military-connected students. These children show incredible strength, adaptability, and resilience as they navigate frequent moves, new schools, and time apart from loved ones serving our country.

By honoring the Month of the Military Child, we create a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel seen, valued, and understood. It also helps build awareness among peers and staff, fostering empathy and strong connections within our school community.

Most importantly, this celebration extends support to the entire family, recognizing the sacrifices they make and reminding them that they are not alone. At Dolphin Terrace Elementary, we stand together to uplift, encourage, and celebrate our military children every day.
