Photo of a smiling young child seated at a table outdoors or under a covered area during a school activity. The child is wearing a blue collared shirt and a dark baseball cap and is leaning forward with arms resting on the table. A small black planting pot sits in the foreground. Other children in blue shirts are seated nearby, with the background softly blurred.

Dolphin Terrace kindergarteners had a blast on their trip to the La Union Corn Maze! As they explored the maze and the farm, students learned all about how plants grow, the life cycles of living things, and the wonders of nature. They got to dig in, move, and explore, learning through fun, hands-on (kinesthetic) activities that bring classroom concepts to life.

This exciting adventure connects directly to Texas Kindergarten TEKS, as students observe and describe plant growth, understand basic needs of living organisms, and use their senses to explore the natural world. 🌽🌱
